Concept and Design
Development Approval
Council approvals can be a lengthy and time consuming process with many unforeseen obstacles and delays. Our Project Managers are well versed in working with local councils to secure development approvals on behalf of our clients.
Once we have defined the project concept and associated scope of works, our project managers will engage all necessary engineers and consultants to provide the comprehensive documentation which is required for an efficient council approval process. Our experience in knowing what councils necessitate to approve such applications is pivotal to meeting desired time frames. Continual updates will be provided to clients throughout the process with the aim of complete transparency and flow of information.
Budget and Program
Our clients and more specifically the partnership we develop with our clients, are the primary focus of our Project Managers. An integral aspect of this partnership is the transparency of information and having a concise understanding of our client expectations.
Our innovative approach to project communication has been the introduction of a cloud-based website, which are developed for each of our client projects and accessed through the "LOG IN" tab on this website. The project websites provides real-time access to all of the latest project information, which include:
- Documentation - architectural drawings, engineering drawings, invoices, meeting minutes, progress photos, certificates and inspections
- Project Budget - itemised breakdown of individual costings which are systematically tracked in order to manage the overall project budget
- Project Program - comprehensive time tracking provided for all project works
- Consultant Coordination - all project consultants are provided with access to the project website to facilitate the real-time flow of information and obtain efficient input where necessary to meet the project targets
Contractor Engagement
Palin Project Management engages only the finest contractors to achieve only the highest results for our clients.
Through our extensive network and industry relationships we are able to draw on contractors that we know have a proven track record of high quality builds and whom are readily available to undertake our projects as priority. All contract administration, including price negotiation, are undertaken by your project manager to obtain the best financial outcome without jeapardising the quality of the build. Your project manager will be the single point of contact for all project dealings.
Onsite Management
Palin Project Management's vision is to effectively manage a project from a simple concept right through to completion, creating a simple and comprehensive approach to residential construction. Our management systems take the uncertainty and apprehension out of the building process, which creates a stress free environment whereby our clients actually enjoy the build phase of their project - as they should.
Your Project Manager will act as the single point of contact for all project stakeholders, which include; clients, builders, consultants, neighbours, Council and Certifiers. Your Project Manager will hold weekly meetings on site with the builder and arrange for all other necessary attendees. Clients are encouraged to attend these meetings, with meeting minutes developed and distributed weekly to all relevant project stakeholders and uploaded onto the project website for continual access.
Practical Completion
A project manager will be assigned to your project from the very first on site discussion. Having a singular point of contact means the management process is simple and the flow of information is efficient and succinct. During the final stage of your build, your project manager will complete all finishing measures so that our company systems are achieved, but more importantly you as the client are 100% satisfied with the final product. If there are any project shortfalls, your project manager will manage the process to complete the defective items and gain practical completion on your behalf. We will be with you every step of the way to make certain your vision is delivered.
